About the Role & Team
Penn is looking for an Operations Associate to join our growing VIP Operations Team. As an Operations Associate, responsibilities include handling a wide variety of tasks for the VIP department. This ranges from crediting patron awards to communicate travel arrangements to pulling, manipulating, and presenting data. You will have a hand in almost every task the VIP department does. There's always something to do, and there's lots of opportunities to think outside the box and problem solve.
This ideal candidate is someone who has strong experience in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, comfortable navigating through large sets of numbers and information in data sheets, and have strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who has familiarity with conducting virtual meetings and note-taking, and flexibility to work sometimes outside of their typical shift.

About the Work
As a key member of our VIP Operations team you will:
- Support the department by performing a variety of tasks. These include but are not limited to crediting patron’s accounts with awards and bonuses, pulling and presenting statistical information from our database, putting together emails and deal offers to patrons as requested by hosts and the leadership team, and miscellaneous administrative duties.

- Supporting the hosts in their mission to serve our VIP patrons is pivotal.
- What is their day to day like?
- While each one can bring its own challenges, a typical day consists of crediting awards and bonuses, attending meetings and taking notes as necessary, maintaining a variety of sheets with current information for the department, and putting together official patron deal offers.
About You
- What do they bring to the table?
- Someone who pays attention to detail is key. If something doesn’t seem right, are you able to figure out why and explain it to someone else?
- Educational background?
- A college degree is preferred, but not required.
- X years in a specific field?
- At least a year of work experience in operations, data entry, personal assistant, or data analyst roles. Two years or more in a customer service role is also desirable.
- Describe skills and competencies you are looking for.

- Any past working experience with ZenDesk, Looker, or Back Office would be a plus.
- Familiarity with Slack or a similar service.
- Competent and comfortable in Excel and Google sheets.
