We have a full-time opening at our Johnstown, PA location. We have been part of the community for 103 years. Entry level machine shop position with responsibilities including: Correctly transfer information from the part print or other related documents and stamp parts for identification. Clean, deburr, stamp and carefully handle as not to damage finished product. Polishing of parts Safely operate a forklift without damaging product while moving. Assist and perform labor duties for Shop Management including, but not limited to: Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using forklifts, or other equipment. Removing chips from machines and machine areas Painting, cleaning, staining, packaging product Assist the Shipping supervisor as needed. Assist the Heat Treat supervisor as needed. May lead to opportunity to enter our in-house Machinist Trainee program. Individuals must be willing and able to work weekly rotating shifts--one week 4-10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday on 1st shift then next week 4 - 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday on 2nd shift. Overtime may be required. Competitive wage and benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, pension plan, vacation, disability and life insurances.
