General Summary statement:
This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources plus program delivery of Physical Rehabilitation Services (Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy) throughout TCCH and Health System. The general tasks throughout the in- and outpatient cost centers include developing and implementing policies and procedural controls, quality improvement, compliance, competency assessment, patient care, budget development and control, personnel administration, and procurement.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS, OR REQUIREMENTS
Ability to analyze operational data, implement employee approved management techniques, and obtain maximum effectiveness and efficiency; effectively coordinate various department functions and activities for maximum operation and efficiency; direct, instruct and advise supervisors in the approved methods, procedures, and practices of program function and patient management.
Ability to react to day to day issues and interpret established policies into operational procedures. Ability to work effectively and establish working relationships with employees, vendors, medical staff, and the public.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS
This person works in a well lit office 80 % of the time. He/she would stand and walk intermittently throughout the day. Travel from the office to/from the hospital requires driving multiple times every month. Travel to/from the various outpatient cost centers requires driving multiple times every month.
