The Heart Station and Nuclear Cardiology department has a Supervisor position opportunity
Position Description:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
The supervision of all department personnel which includes nuclear technicians, stress technicians, EKG technicians, and co-manage front desk staff functions including insurance verification and scheduling.
To have a good understanding of all jobs and duties to be able to assist with coverage if needed.
To be the liaison between administration, physicians, employees, patients, and other departments.
To perform special projects and extra duties along with the duties of a supervisor and to complete them on time.
Manages budgets, scheduling, operational work for efficiencies, and regulatory compliance for TJC, NRC, and PA State, etc.
Acts as patient care provider for stress testing and nuclear imaging.
The ability to handle many things at one time and to keep a smooth work flow in the three departments
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in Nuclear Cardiology or Nuclear Medicine required
CNMT and/or ARRT (N) Certification required
American Heart CPR certification required or must be obtained in first month of employment
Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent required
Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine training and/or school
Experience in a health care setting with patient interaction and the ability to evaluate a patients abilities and needs.
Knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements from agencies such as NRC, Pennsylvania State, DOT, TJC, and IAC.
