Pennichuck Corporation is a private water utility engaged in the collection, storage, treatment, distribution and sale of potable water in southern and central New Hampshire. We operate both as a regulated water utility operation and a non-regulated water management service. Our Corporate headquarters is now located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
We now have an opening for a Generalist in our busy Revenue & Customer Operations group. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Customer Service: You will provide customer support to ensure that customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Cash Operations: You will process accounts receivables to ensure that customer accounts correctly reflect payments.
Billing: You will review and reconcile customer accounts and prepare bills which accurately reflect amount owed consistent with PUC regulations, usage, and/or municipal contract.
You will have regularly assigned duties while you also support the specialists in each of the above areas as the need arises.
Successful candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent with at least three years of experience in a customer service and/or accounts receivable position. Individuals who have teller experience are encouraged to apply. Your experience must demonstrate the:
- Ability to tactfully respond to customers queries regarding payments or billings
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Prioritization and multi-tasking capability
- Strong math, organizational and analytical skills.
- An eye for detail
- Dependability
- Proficiency in Word or Excel
