Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Construction Inspector to contribute to our Municipal Infrastructure projects on a full-time, direct basis in the Cape May, NJ area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform construction inspections and material testing for stormwater management facilities, roads, land developments, wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & treatment facilities, as well as other infrastructure.
- Perform constructability plan reviews.
- Assist with construction administration.
- Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- At least two years of professional experience working in Field-based roles, preferably in Construction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in an Engineering or technical field of study (especially Civil Engineering Technology) is a plus!
- Experience working with Municipal Infrastructure / Wet Utility projects is a plus!
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, especially with MS-Office (e.g.: Word, Outlook, etc.), is expected; exposure to technical programs (especially ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation) is a plus!
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong attention-to-detail skills with the proven ability to work with a high-level of accuracy.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
