Job Responsibilities:
Pennoni Associates is current seeking a Proposal Specialist with experience consistent, but not limited to:
- To work in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team in support of the firm’s technical and business development teams on priority pursuits
- Partnering in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations, including expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), and pre-qualification efforts
- Analyzing RFP requirements to develop the most comprehensive and responsive submission possible, coordinating subconsultant information, developing submittal layout, creating and incorporating graphics, arranging production and delivery
- Complete Annual and Semi-Annual firm qualifications with both public and private agencies. Development and production of Statements of Qualification and Proposals, including 254/255 and SF 330 forms
- Interact with staff to accomplish the writing and editing of items such as resumes, project summaries, and management and technical documents
- Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the proposal and shortlist presentations, as required
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines
- Work as a team with Marketing, Business Development, and technical staff to provide the foundation for success of Pennoni's Client Development efforts.
Required Attributes:
- Education: Bachelors Degree or industry experience
- Experience: 4-7 years
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills
- This person should be experienced in preparing responses to RFPs, working with technical staff to ensure deadlines are met, writing project summaries, customizing staff resumes, maintaining related databases, and coordinating information from subconsultants and clients
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details. Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- A good sense of aesthetics and design for the use of graphics for A/E/C marketing documents
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with grant writing a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM software a plus, specifically Deltek Vantagepoint
