JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Sociology and Criminology at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus, invites applications to apply for up to three Adjunct Part-Time Teaching openings starting in August 2023.
Job Duties
- The opening will involve teaching courses in Criminology at the undergraduate level.
- Adjunct Faculty normally teach at least one course per semester, and summer teaching is sometimes available.
Requirements and Qualifications
- The ideal candidates will have a minimum of a master's degree (Doctoral Degree preferred) in Criminology, Sociology, or a closely related field.
- Teaching experience is required.
- The successful candidate must have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable and diverse campus community.
