Position Summary:
Join the Vehicle Supply team as an integral part of our department. The Vehicle Supply Project Leader will focus on process improvement and project leadership for our group.
The Project Leader will work closely with business teams to understand their current process and pain points they wish to eliminate. Through Six Sigma methodology requirements will be developed to improve the process. The Project Leader will need to keep the projects on track and inspire both the IT team and business team for the best possible deliverable. Projects will vary from large IT implementations to new process improvement opportunities through other channels. They must be comfortable to challenge the status quo, limitations, and suggestions in a professional manner. The Project Leader will work to create these new processes and improvements, test, pilot, and implement a proper deploy strategy.
Major Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple projects
• Facilitate meetings
• Develop project requirements and design mock ups
• Present to business leadership and various constituent groups
• Provide training (in-person, Web-Ex with Conference Call, and create training modules)
• Organize and communicate project status
• Develop and implement strategies for testing, pilots, and deploys
• Rapidly adapt and respond to change in priorities
• Research possible solutions, 3rd party options, etc.
• Accountable for all testing
• Work in Agile Team
• Use JIRA to communicate and organize open items
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience leading multiple projects from initiation to close required
• Ability to creatively envision, prepare, and present project requirements
• Experience conducting training (in-person, Web-Ex with Conference Call, and creating training modules using software like Camtasia) required
• Experience using software like Axure for design mock ups preferred
• Organized with ability to Multi-task
• Hard-working and willingness to learn
• Ability to drive progress
• Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to create and communicate recommendations for improvement
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
• Professionalism a must (communication, attendance, conduct, etc.)
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
