Qualifications*

• Minimum 2 years' international freight forwarding experience
• Experience working in oil and gas verticals highly preferred
• Positive and professional attitude
• High attention to detail and strong planning and organizing skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Cargowise experience highly preferred but not required
• High School Diploma required

Position Responsibilities*

• Has knowledge and understanding of AES filing requirements.
• Reviews shipping requirements and identify the most cost-effective methods.
• Ensures documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, customers and agents in a timely manner.
• Liaises with PFS offices, agents, contractors, third parties and clients in USA and overseas.
• Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation.
• Notify clients on statues of shipment and maintain proactive communication with clients.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with export carriers, transportation agencies and sales.
• Source methods of transportation and create quotes for the customer. Including out of gauge and over-sized cargo.
• Provide best-in-class freight forwarding and logistics services at all times.
• Ensure the proper and timely billing of customers.

*Working Conditions/ Physical Demands

• Tolerant of working in an office environment and sitting for an extended period of time.
• Regularly required to move objects exceeding 30lbs, including push, pull, lift and reach.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and bend at the waist for extended periods of time.
• Vision abilities required include close-up vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Frequently (8 hours) uses fingers and hands for type and writing.
