We have an opportunity for a Global Process Owner, Planning/SIOP to join our Golden Valley, MN team. Reporting to the Business Process & Project Manager, the Global Process Owner SIOP will establish and implement planning, costing and financial reporting processes in alignment with Pentairs business objectives, with primary focus on delivering and maintaining standard SIOP processes as part of Pentairs multi-year ERP strategy.
You will:
The GPO drives direction and makes decisions on future-state SIOP processes, including driving the definition of common business processes to establish enterprise-wide consistency.
Ensures that deployed technologies enable the enterprise-wide operating model and meet user needs.
Works with all Pentair business and functional stakeholders to transformation business areas covering FP&A and manufacturing finance covering product costing, project accounting, fixed assets, and management reporting needs.
Manages global buy-in of decisions on common business processes, data ownership, and organization design.
Manages deployment budgets for the own area for solution development and design.
Prioritizes and resolves decisions for SIOP related items based on industry standard solution.
Collaborates with peer GPOs and the Design Authority to ensure the best possible long-term processes are deployed.
Establishes results ownership and KPI tracking while enabling value capture; evaluates results against competitive benchmarks.
Owns application governance during the ERP deployment and in steady state, captures decisions and owns operating model changes post Go Live.
Continually evaluates processes and the Pentair operating model to protect the standard while finding improved ways of working.
Key Qualifications:
Graduate level, advanced degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in B2B and/or B2C environments
Deep understanding of procure to pay processes, such as:
Product costing (MTS, MTO, E2O, etc.)
Linkage between Finance and Operations/Manufacturing
Defining and deploying management reporting requirements
Record-to-report knowledge and understanding
Financial Planning and Analytics knowledge
Proven ability to impact and influence a stakeholder with collaborative work and leadership style.
A dynamic, dedicated, hands-on, pragmatic and committed person with a strong results orientation
Experience in global manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with SAP preferred (FI/CO, COPA)
Experience and success in a matrix, global environment
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
