We have an opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative (Key Accounts) to join our Residential & Irrigation Flow Inside Sales team. This business is focused on manufacturing sustainable pump solutions for agricultural, RV, and marine usage. You will own your own portfolio of key accounts, implement business strategies, and collaborate with outside sales to promote long-term repeatable sales of Pentair’s products and brands (Shurflo, Sherwood, Hypro). You will:

• Collaborate with outside sales, supporting Key Account activity including contract and agreement negotiations, project/program quotes, special pricing agreements (SPA’s), price increases, and the development of supportive presentations.
• Assist with new product introductions, and support coverage and market penetration growth activity.
• Coordinate internal Key Account activity and communicate customer product requirements with other departments such as marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.
• Provide market and customer feedback to outside sales, product managers and sales leaders regarding competition, risk, opportunities, customer issues, and trends.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to maintain accurate recording of Key Account contact information.

Key Qualifications:

• Have earned a Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree in a related field.
• Have 3 years of experience in sales, product management, or customer service, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience and/or knowledge of agricultural, residential, RV, marine, or industrial pump or fluid transfer solutions and applications.
• Experience driving new business growth, researching new markets, or finding new product applications.
• Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from large data sets.
• Ability to utilize relevant computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, database & CRM tools (e.g., SAP, JDE, Salesforce).
