Summary:
People Architects is excited to partner with our Orange County based client as we recruit for our Creative Director. Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing D2C tech-enabled consumer products company that is building a global growth platform, acquiring and evolving e-commerce brands into household brands.
Position Overview: In this role you'll need to be collaborative, respond quickly to feedback and evolving needs, hit deadlines, and adjust on the fly while maintaining standards of quality, design requirements, and branding guidelines.
You'll be the driving force behind flourishing brands, leading a team of talented creatives, and shaping the visual identity that propels our brands to new heights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy, setting the standard for visual excellence.
- Work side-by-side with your team, leading by example and ensuring creative consistency across every touchpoint.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of brand initiatives and campaigns.
- Analyze data and other insights in evaluating brand performance, find areas for improvement, and make recommendations for optimization.
- Create strong content and manage many projects across brands.
- Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy, setting the standard for visual excellence. You'll work side-by-side with your team, leading by example and ensuring creative consistency across every touchpoint.
- Enhance, optimize, and improve processes or manage change for efficiencies and upgraded customer experience.
- Analyze and optimize our creative workflow, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions for efficient content creation, streamlining processes without sacrificing creativity.
- Stay current on the latest design trends and translate them into innovative strategies that keep our brands fresh and competitive.
- Manage the end-to-end production process, from ideation to final delivery, while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Conduct competitive analysis, market research, as well as consumer insights studies to inform brand strategy development and optimization.
- Fluent in all design software and technologies.
- Team player who is good at multitasking and time management.
Qualifications (required and preferred):
- 6 years creative and management experience with a strong portfolio of design excellence demonstrating a proven track record of success
- Previous experience managing workflows and teams.
- Experience working with Shopify.
- A proven track record as a Creative Director in a fast-paced e-commerce environment is a must.
- Possess a deep understanding of design principles and a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create captivating visuals for ecommerce platforms.
- You lead by example, rolling up your sleeves alongside your team and fostering a collaborative spirit.
- You excel at communication, both verbally and visually. You can clearly articulate your creative vision and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- A passion for e-commerce and a deep understanding of the online retail landscape is a plus.
