We are seeking a Temp to Hire Administrative Assistant or Admin Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) to join our Intake Department! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Details: This is a full-time position with a 9:00am-5:00pm work schedule. We offer benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, vision and complimentary life insurance. This is a 90-day Temp to Hire Position with People Empowering People of AZ Inc. as an Intake Specialist.
This position will place the Temp-to Hire Intake Specialist employee to the test in real-world conditions to see how they perform with the existing team and to demonstrate how capable they are of meeting the requirements of the position before committing to a permanent employment offer.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with patient's and case managers
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment
- Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
- Coordinate patient care with behavioral health clinics in the service area
- Interact with consumers to obtain information for initial contact and set intake appointment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields is preferred
- Preferred experience in Behavioral Health
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have the following items or be willing to obtain:
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- TB Test
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Official Transcripts
- Proof of Auto insurance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
