Administrative Assistant II
$1,000 hiring bonus available to external candidates
People Incorporated is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Waiver Case Management program. This position is responsible for executing intermediate level administrative duties for the unit and ensuring that the assigned areas run effectively. Key areas of responsibility include report generation and distribution, general financial data reporting, while maintaining department and organizational standards.
Hours: Monday-Friday, Flexible Business Hours
Hiring Range: $18.29 - $20.32 hourly
Required Qualifications:
- Associates of Arts degree
- Minimum of one year of prior administrative support experience
- In lieu of an Associates of Arts degree and one year of prior experience, a high school diploma and three years of administrative experience may be substituted
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working with individuals who have mental illness.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior administrative support experience within a not-for-profit environment.
Main Job Duties:
- Responsible for generating correspondence, statistical information, meeting minutes, and other general administrative support to the program.
- Partner with unit staff on the development and maintaining of workplace databases and files.
- Create and maintain program files and that information is handled in accordance with company confidentiality standards.
- Coordinate the purchase and maintenance of program office supplies. Partner with appropriate staff on the reporting, allocating and tracking of such expenses in accordance with organizational financial standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and callers, providing information, taking messages or directing them to the appropriate person.
- Maintain general financial data for the unit and that it is in accordance with program, department, organizational and other regulatory agency requirements
