Athens Health and Rehab is seeking a Full Time Assistant Director Of Nursing for our 90-bed skilled nursing facility in Athens, PA!

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department in conjunction with the Director of Nursing
• Audits nursing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance maintained to ensure wholistic care for our residents.
• Makes daily rounds for observation of the care of residents
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains Infection Control practices and documentation for all staff and residents.
• Responsible for ensuring education is provided as needed in collaboration with the management team.

 

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse RN with a minimum of supervisory/leadership experience in nursing in a long-term care setting. 
• Experience with geriatric population in long term care environment.
• Covid Vaccine required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hiring
