Quality Inspector
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Kentwood, MI area, is seeking motivated candidates to join their team!
Job Summary:
- Pay: $19/hr
- 1st shift, 7am-3pm
- Monday-Friday
Individual is responsible for Quality functions and operating the waterjet, abrasive waterjet, shot peen, grit blast and thermal spray machines for processing components
Duties and Responsibilities
- Visual Inspection of parts to customer standards
- Maintain product flow through inspection process
- Complete documentation of quality control paperwork
- Product Non-Conformance Documentation and Control
- Measuring and recording critical attributes using height gauge, calipers or micrometer Computer knowledge (Excel and Word) Essential
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Attention to details and specifications
- Computer literate
- Manufacturing procedure background
- Print reading skills
- Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to obtain Hilo Certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this hob, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands/ fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
