Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Examine manufactured automotive parts to ensure the parts meet all standards of presentation and quality.
- Sample and inspect in-process product and finished goods. Record data accurately.
- Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production as necessary.
- Trains other employees as needed.
- Create and maintain a safe and healthful work environment.
- Responsible for 5S within the plant and daily housekeeping.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role minimum 1 year
- Attention to detail to determining possible causes for defects
- Needs to have effective communications skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Steel Toes, Safety Glasses
Additional Information
- Work is performed in a manufacturing setting which requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and safety shoes with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
- Ability to work overtime in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
