Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with family-owned provider of metal fabrication services since 1917 in Williamston, SC.
They are seeking Die Setter to join their team!

Job Summary : 1st shift
1st shift
6am - 230pm
2nd shift
$28.00 - $32.00 Based on Experience
230pm - 10pm M-Thur
There is required / voluntary OT at times
Skills Required :
Demonstrated understanding of cutting clearances, die timing, forming, ready benders, aerial and filler cams.
Troubleshoot progressive stamping dies.
Perform maintenance and repairs on progressive dies.
Operate manual and automatic toolroom equipment.
Ability to work with American SAE and Metric
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows all company safety policies.
Sets up and operates shop equipment including lathes and grinder to machine parts; verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
Correctly troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and reassemble progressive stamping dies.
Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Able to work overtime as driven by the workload
JOB REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school education is a must. Job requires five years tool and die repair in metal stamping or related technical experience.
Experience with progressive dies.
Accredited journeyman’s tool maker certificate preferred, not required.
Must possess basic measuring tools, hand tools and toolbox.
Ability, operating manuals, and procedures. to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to move up to 35 pounds
