Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and stability
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Android development
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Android SDKs and frameworks
- Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
- Understanding of mobile app testing, deployment, and distribution processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Jira for project management
- Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of iOS development is a plus
- Understanding of C programming language is a plus
