Retirees encouraged to apply.Note – Pay Rate for this Job is $17.00 to start, $18 after 8 weeksShift Timing - 1st Shift (Day), These are long term positions Monday - Friday 7am - 11:00am plus. Overtime potential. Responsibilities Include:Working with construction team to establish safe movement of traffic around construction zone, in accordance with safety regulationsFlagging motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work aheadTaking ownership of keeping work zone and passing cars safeMay need to place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices- duties will vary according to job assignmentDirecting traffic flow using Department of Transportation regulationsResponding to emergencies as directed and performing tasks in the interest of public safety and property protection during emergenciesQualifications:Must be capable of working in all weather conditions and be able to stand for long periods of time.Own transportation required for travel to differing job sites throughout the work day. (Mileage paid at 58 ½ cents per mile)Experience a plus however we will provide classroom training and certification at no cost.Background check and drug screen required
