Summary:
We are looking for the right candidate to join our dental family. Peoria Dental's dental assistants provide compassionate and professional care, while creating an optimal experience for all our patients and family. We are looking for a clinical assistant that is hardworking, performs high quality assistance, excellent customer service, enjoys working in a cutting-edge office and would like to be part of a family practice. The ideal candidate would be cross trained with front end experience. The idea candidate would be someone that is knowledgeable about all aspects of insurance, including billing, EOB, claims, account receivable and collections. As a member our team, the ideal candidate works closely with patients in presenting treatment plans and financial options to help them receive the treatment they need.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree.
Dental assisting and front office experience experience preferred
Proficiency working with Cerec preferred.
Dentrix Ascend software experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Demonstrates EXCELLENT customer service
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Ability to analyze medical records and prescribed protocols to formulate effective therapeutic treatment plans.
- Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, terminology and techniques.
- Fluency (preferred) with Dentrix Ascend dental software, Microsoft Office, dental insurance policy interpretation and patient check out.
- Knowledge of HIPPA and OSHA regulations
