Pepper & Odom Injury Lawyers is looking for Personal Injury Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join our quickly growing personal injury law firm based in Alabama and Mississippi with offices in Jackson, MS and Birmingham, AL and cases across both states. We handle a variety of injury cases including motor vehicle and commercial transportation as well as various complex cases that include multi-district litigation, product liability, and offshore maritime accidents involving oil rigs and vessels. We provide each attorney with support staff to best serve each client. Our firm’s staff and attorneys take pride in the results that are obtained for our clients. We look for attorneys who have compassion for the clients and are interested in sharpening their litigation and trial skills. We provide opportunities for our attorneys to sharpen their trial skills by having them take the lead counsel position in depositions, case planning and trials.

Every attorney in the firm has access to every resource needed to be successful in practice, including access to experienced trial lawyers as needed and the ability to work alongside one when requested or needed.
The Personal Injury Attorney will handle a case-load of cases in both pre-litigation and litigation, including, but not limited to handling cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict.
Typically Attorney responsibilities involves:
- client communication,
- day-to-day handling of litigation cases,
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Guide clients through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Managing cases with Case Management Software
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of personal injury experience or civil litigation;
Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
Ability to manage volume injury cases in pre-litigation and litigation
Good communication skills and relationships with clients and attorneys
Ability to learn and use Case Management Software
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation is negotiable and can be a base salary, percentage of attorney fees, or combination of.
- Expected $75,000 - $250,000 average annual take home
