Front Desk Associate - Morning & Evening Shifts Available
Shift Options:
Morning Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM
Evening Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM
Role Overview:
As a Front Desk Associate at our hotel, you're the first point of contact and the face of our brand, offering unparalleled service throughout our guests' stay. This role involves everything from guest registration to ensuring a memorable experience with superior customer care. You'll work closely with all hotel departments to guarantee every guest enjoys a seamless, enjoyable stay and a smooth checkout process.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence: Be the hotel's representative at all stages of the guest's stay, ensuring superior customer care from check-in to checkout.
Reservation Mastery: Manage inventory of available rooms, take reservations, understand cancellation policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of room locations, types, and rates.
Operational Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping for room status updates and coordinate with maintenance for any guest room repairs needed.
Sales and Promotion: Utilize persuasive techniques to sell rooms and promote hotel services, staying informed about hotel activities and meetings.
Problem Resolution: Professionally manage and resolve all guest complaints, ensuring a satisfactory outcome.
Transaction Handling: Process guest check-outs and handle all monetary transactions with accuracy, maintaining customer privacy at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a hotel-related role preferred, but not essential for a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate with guests, staff, and management professionally.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the area and local events to assist guests effectively.
Policy Adherence: Understanding of and ability to adhere to proper credit, cash handling, and guest information security policies.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety, emergency, and accident prevention standards.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the use of front office equipment and proper telephone etiquette.
