PepsiCo recently announced plans to enter a business relationship with Boston Beer, where Boston Beer will develop and manufacture a new flavored malt beverage HARD MTN DEW. As part of the business arrangement PepsiCo has set up a new entity, Blue Cloud Distribution, Inc. (BCD) for wholesale operations of the product including selling, delivering, and merchandising the product.
We are looking for talented and passionate team members to join the BCD team that will bring this exciting new product to market.
This labor-intensive position is responsible for receiving inventory, loading sales orders onto trucks, and completing related administrative tasks. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on workload and may vary daily.
Position requires the following (to be completed with or without a reasonable accommodation): Lifting a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period. Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and grasping as product is moved.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Receive loads direct from our partners, certify orders, and move product to designated location in warehouse for inventory
* Load daily sales onto vans, D10K trucks, and bulk trucks while ensuring load accuracy
* Organize, maintain and count inventory while ensuring storage areas and warehouse are kept clean and orderly
* Safely operate Powered Industrial Equipment ( e.g. forklift)
* When needed, coordinate product deliveries and accurately maintain related documentation
* Proactively communicate inventory gaps to leadership and the sales team and work collaboratively to resolve the problem
* Complete administrative tasks such as preparing and processing paperwork related to the shipping, receiving, and processing of orders
* Use a computer to enter billing information into the accounting system (e.g. VIP) for payment
* Identify and communicate areas where processes could be improved
* Complete warehouse audits in alcohol areas while complying with all AIB standards and all other facility requirements
* When required by business needs, provide route coverage to Alcohol Sales Rep which includes delivering products, managing truck inventory, executing promotions and interfacing with customers
* When required by business needs, provide merchandising support and ensure all accounts are merchandised to local standards
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must possess a valid Driver's License and proof of insurance
* Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned territory
* The role involves safely operating a small Commercial Motor Vehicle (greater than 10,000 lbs. but less than 26,000 lbs. -- D10K); must be able to obtain valid Driver's License and valid DOT Medical Card.
* Must be able to meet and maintain all company compliance and conformance expectations including but not limited to possessing adequate vehicle licensing credentials, and medical qualifications
* Must be able to pass forklift certification.
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
* Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)
* Experience driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
* Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.)
Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
