What are the responsibilities and job description for the GBS Strategy & Transformation Manager position at PepsiCo?
Global Business Services (GBS) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to PepsiCo businesses globally, for all sectors, with a great user experience. To enable this purpose, GBS requires a PMO with oversight and management of the human capital-related strategy and implementation. This role will work closely with the GBS head of HR and other global and local GBS HR leaders.
The role will perform all project management responsibilities in support of GBS HR and people-related agenda, including: executive status reporting, meeting planning and facilitation for leadership teams, strategic plan tracking, risk and issue management, key decision documentation, and management of interdependencies across business functions, change management and communications, finance, and transformation.
Responsibilities
Transformation and project management
- Drive the GBS enabling HR program agenda to ensure global and local teams are on track to deliver program timelines, expected benefits and intervene/escalate as necessary to address roadblocks.
- Coordinate implementation of critical GBS operating model elements, making sure all stakeholders are aligned
- Prepare executive presentations and materials for Pepsico and Pepsico GBS leaders
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues impacting timeline and benefits realization in specific enabling HR workstreams and program-wide.
- Develop and implement integrated initiative specific work plans, reflecting more granular dependencies, milestones, deliverables and deployments.
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple enabling HR key workstreams in the program including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Management, Change Management, Communications, and interdependencies with Transformation, Finance, and other related areas.
- Identify and develop accelerating templates, tools, and processes to increase enabling HR program efficiency.
- Apply knowledge of key human capital and HR concepts, critical thinking, and relevant project management methodologies to perform root cause analysis and drive action plans for resolutions and intended outcomes.
- Perform strategic and data analysis to offer business insights for senior leadership in decision-making.
Communications and stakeholder management
- Conduct relationship management with over 6 GBS locations workstreams and 10 global stakeholders across numerous GBS, IT, and external implementation partners
- Develop executive-level status reports, presentations, and briefings that articulate GBS vision and status
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $91,100 - $ 152,450
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out Annually.

Qualifications
- Significant consulting or project management experience in managing complex, large scale global organizations is essential
- Experience in preparing executive presentations/materials (specifically in GBS environment)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred (not mandatory)
- Expert communications, including in-person and virtual meeting facilitation
- Proficient with MS Office – MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular
- 5-7 years of experience with strong consulting or project management background
- Ability to influence cross geography teams and achieve cross divisional alignment
- Able to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Able to effectively work in a highly-matrixed organization, handling competing priorities and connecting the dots across
