PepsiCo has determined Net Revenue Management as being a critical capability to rapidly scale to address intense external headwinds across the retail landscape, on-going competitive pressure and to underpin PepsiCo’s ambitious top line and margin goals. PepsiCo Net Revenue Management is a relatively new function where transformation, technology, strategy and capabilities enablement are being setup to be best in class, and to be standardized and deployed globally.
The main purpose of this role is to lead NRM strategy deployment in our businesses across the globe, setting PepsiCo up for long term, consumer focused topline and profit growth. The role will drive the implementation of global NRM playbooks across Price Architecture, Mix Management and Trade Management to guide assessment of the business landscape, strategy development and ultimately deployment.
As a Manager of Global Net Revenue Management Strategy, you will:
Partner with Sectors and BU NRM leads to deploy targeted deep dives, to identify value opportunities to underpin sustainable NR and NRR delivery over the long term horizon.
Deploy global Price Architecture, Mix Management and Trade Management playbooks in the marketplace, guiding BUs to defining AOP and long term NRM strategies
Work to mobilize SLAM team approaches, leveraging local BU expertise to address global NRM challenges and opportunities in a timely and granular manner.
Support the development of Global NRM Long Term Strategy creation, defining future sources of growth and strategic investments across BUs to realize these sources, ultimately driving sustainable and consistent NR, NRR and margin expansion.
Support defining the overarching NRM approach, analytics and frameworks for playbook creation across the NRM levers
Coordinate with the NRM Innovation and NRM Capability priorities to ensure NRM Strategy requirements are supported and readily translated into execution
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years’ experience with a minimum 2 years’ experience in Net Revenue Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Strategy Expertise – Strong record in CPG Strategy and Consulting practice with minimum 5 years CPG experience. Proven track record demonstrating strategic thinking and problem solving
Analytical Expertise – Exceptional analytical skills. Ability to review complex data, pulling out key insights & translating into high level executive summary, storylines & concise practical plans for execution
Presentation – Ability to visually present thoughts, storylines, facts & figures in a compelling way and adapt content to a variety of senior leadership and middle management audiences – specifically including strong PowerPoint and Excel competence
Communication – Excellent communication skills and can articulate complex issues in an easy to understand way
Leadership – Proven leadership and people development skills. Cross-functional collaboration experience and working in a matrix organization
Influence – Demonstration of ability to influence both internal and external agenda at Senior Leadership level and across a wide stakeholder group in Functions, Sectors and BUs. Ability to influence at high level without authority.
Commercial Acumen – Broad multi-channel experience preferably in established FMCG and/or Retail. Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda and interrogate complex, incomplete or ambiguous data with ease
Global Mindset – Takes an enterprise view that considers and anticipates implications across multiple global stakeholders (e.g., market needs, labor practices, legal issues) when building strategies and driving results. Capitalizes on an understanding of global business and societal dynamics to create flexible strategies that resonate across geographies or business categories
