Responsibilities
- Maintain the Storeroom at an acceptable level of cleanliness and organization using 5S Standards and Methodologies.
- Stock all inbound MRO Material in proper locations after it has been received. Check out all MRO Material properly in the CMMS. (Every transaction must be recorded in the CMMS)
- Accurately maintain and manage checkbook for any parts/services requested on a daily basis.
- Properly process any Material Returns to the Storeroom in the CMMS to ensure that Inventory Counts remain accurate in the System.
- Track and Report all Inventory related Metrics such as Count Accuracy, Stock Outages, Causes, and Inventory Accuracy, especially for all Class “A” Spares. Countermeasure all Indicators that have an unfavorable Trend.
- Work as part of a Team to support Continuous Improvement and the Implementation of Countermeasures to prevent outages in the future.
- Monitor and Track the Rebuild Program and maintain an accurate inventory of all components in the program and where they are located at all times.
- Using Visual Controls, Monitor and Audit, and all Class “A” Spares daily. Make note of any out of standard conditions regarding Class “A” Spares and discuss with the team.
- Assist the Planner / Scheduler in Stock Picking, PM Kitting, and Staging Activities.
- Maintain a Backorder Tracking Sheet that monitors all past due MRO Inventory Items.
- Manage all “Requests for New Part Set-Up” forms that are received. Properly return to vendors or dispose of any obsolete parts that result from New Part Set-Ups or other improvements.
- Constantly evaluate Spare Part Classifications and adjust as situations change. Must have a Replenishment Plan for all Class “A” Spares that is suited to a 24/7 operation and that will adequately meet all Planned and Unplanned Maintenance Activities that involve Class “A” Spares. Initial focus will be Part Availability for Class I Equipment.
- Manage the day to day replenishment of all MRO Supplies
- Systematically evaluate Stocking Levels for all MRO Material on a regular basis (Cycle Counts) and look for opportunities to safely reduce Stocking Levels wherever possible. Adjust levels as needed.
- Manage the procurement of expedited parts and delivery commitments from Suppliers / Vendors. Keep all parties involved and informed of the expedited part’s status at all times.
- Manage the receiving of all inbound MRO Material.
- Maintain / Track the MRO Budget and report on the status of Planned vs Actual Performance on a regular basis.
- Manage all Vendor / Supplier Programs including Development, Communize, Reductions, etc. of parts

Qualifications
- A Working Knowledge of the Inventory and Work Order Modules in the CMMS
- Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal and Written
- A Working Knowledge of Computer Applications, including:
- Windows Operating System
- Proficiency in Excel is desired
- E-mail System
- Microsoft Word and Excel – Text, Data, Charts, Spreadsheets
- CMMS (INFOR)
- Purchasing System
- Excellent Organizational Skills – 5S, Filing, Visual Controls, etc.
- Problem Solving Applications
- Discipline for Following Procedures and Standards
- General Knowledge of Equipment, Parts, and Maintenance Activities
- Must be proficient in the use of the Inventory and Work Order Modules in the CMMS
- Corrective Action Planning and Team Implementation
- Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal and Written
- Strong Meeting Facilitation and Coordination Skills
Compensation and Benefits
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,800 -$70,200 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
