Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technician to work a 13 week assignment with possible extension opportunities.

JOB DETAILS

• Shifts Available: Days- 8AM-5PM Mon-Friday 40 hours/week
• GENERAL RADIOLOGY
• How many open positions on your unit: 1
• Length of contract:  13 Weeks
• Target Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Hospital is located in Martinez, will be assigned in Pittsburg.
• Compensation: 1800.00-2240.00* gross per 40 hour week. *Highest rate based on traveler rate- must live 90 miles one way from facility.*

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation.

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

• Ability to perform complex diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ability to perform general and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures which meet the departments standard of quality.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Ability to troubleshoot, document and communicate equipment problems.

• Ability to work effectively as a team player.

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and congenital/acquired pathology.

• Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.

• Knowledge of Imaging processes and fluoroscopic techniques, methods and equipment.

• Knowledge of methods of positioning patients.

• Knowledge of principles of image processing and development applicable to diagnostic imaging.

• Knowledge of radiation production, positioning and radiation safety
