Responsibilities
We are hiring a Cyber Security Project Manager, Onsite - Ft. Liberty, NC with responsibilities for the following:
What you'll do:
- Cyber Security compliance and management
- Develop and Oversee proper detection and tracking of security vulnerabilities through documented vulnerability management processes, reporting remediation actions through the POAM process, and quarantining non-compliant devices
- Interface with external agencies and service providers
- Utilize problem management practices to identify root causes and find systematic solutions to mitigate problems
- Oversee ACAS system administration, risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Analyze, interpret, and apply Cybersecurity guidance within supported network
- Review policies and procedures for compliance with applicable standards and identifiy areas of improvement for finding remediation
- Identify potential risks associated with system configurations and advise on mitigation strategies
- Ensure Cybersecurity procedures and processes are documented and maintained as required
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
What you'll need:
- At least 8 years experience leading Cyber Security compliance and management
- Proven experience with compliance assessment of technical, administrative and documentation controls for accreditation of networks and services
- Extensive track record of protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive data
- Understanding of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or other IA/CND Compliance and Auditing processes and inspections for enterprise systems and networks
- Executive level written and oral communication skills, with experience briefing Senior Leadership, training development and mentoring personnel on standards and practices.
- Familiar with RMF
- Thorough knowledge of TCP-IP protocol implementations for all common network services in addition to demonstrated capability to perform network packet analysis and anomaly detection
- Professionally certified, within a CND discipline, as defined by DODI 8570 such as CISSP and Security certification
- Secret Clearance

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
