Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance; Active federal background investigation with a T5 adjudication is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years of relevant experience; an additional 6 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- Experience with Python or R
- Knowledge and experience of advanced analytics and data storage
- Knowledge of various data science applications and architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Polished oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose, tailor, and deliver original presentations and papers on abstract concepts
- Ability to develops and employs strategies to analyze key issues, draw conclusions from data, and recommend viable solutions to address customer mission needs.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to complete complex data science projects.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud provider
- Experience in solving problems with structured and unstructured data
- Experience in applying statistical and data visualization skills
- Strong problem solving skills to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
- Proven ability to learn and master new software, technologies and techniques.
- Experience with SQL querying language and the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem
- Experience in two or more of the following: Python, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Neural Networks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, R, C , SQL Database/coding, or visualization tools such as Table
- Experience with inferential and descriptive statistics
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
- Experience with analysis of unstructured and semi-structured data, including natural language processing, deep learning and online person-in-the-loop training techniques.

What you’ll do:
- Exercises creativity in applying traditional and non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of diverse data sources in support of high-value use cases.
- Requires strong technical and computational skills - coupled with the ability to code design, develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced structured, unstructured and semi-structured data analysis and modeling techniques.
- Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data of imperfect quality and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
- Leverages data transport and transformation APIs and technologies such as JSON, XML, XSLT, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP and REST.
- Creates visualizations, reports and data flows using tools like Microsoft Pivot, Palantir, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Advises on data driven improvements - validates experiment design and communicates requirements for statistically sound and relevant results.
- Develops and maintains high quality data products such as models, reports and dashboards.
