Responsibilities
Oversees and performs the editing of material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications. Edits manuscripts by reviewing content for completeness, accuracy and correctness of language use and revises manuscripts to meet predetermined standards of style and accuracy. Looks for inconsistencies of thought, technology, development or organization. Confers with authors and technical stakeholders to recommend treatment of material. Reorganizes, cuts or rewrites as necessary. May edit copy as well. Allocates print space for story text, photos, and illustrations according to space parameters and copy significance, using knowledge of layout principles. Plans the contents of publications according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements. Verifies facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources. Oversees publication production, including artwork, layout, computer typesetting, and printing, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget requirements.
- Documents the technological solutions in place, their interactions, dependencies, compliance requirements, and SLAs. This service is essential to enable the client to leverage data driven decisions and continuously improve the management of its portfolio.
- Maintains hardware design documents and provide updates as required to reflect any moves, adds or changes in the environment.
- Provides documentation and infrastructure-related inventory and reporting activities necessary to meet FISMA or FedRAMP requirements
- Manages and maintains processes and procedures that provide the required security and systems acceptance functions for meeting FISMA & FedRAMP requirements
- Provide configuration management processes and procedures that protect the integrity of business application environments and allows auditing of software and documentation artifacts used to define and create the host operating environment
- Develop and provide business and/or technical documentation including design documents, architectural diagrams, SLA management documentation, escalation procedures, provisioning help documentation, software client user guides, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years equivalent experience
- Knowledge of a technical field such as information technology, systems engineering or equivalent preferred

Colorado Salary Minimum: $53,100 Colorado Salary Maximum: $128,900 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
