Responsibilities
Gathers relevant and factual information, exploiting imagery, creating intelligence products, and baselines from a number of sources and platforms in support of national security goals, concerns, and strategies. Provides topographic/terrain analysis, geospatial analysis, imagery ground station analysis to operators, requirements managers, and mission manager. Monitors worldwide actions and events and relays this information to the DIA, DoD, national and international intelligence publications and organizations. Analyzes aerial and ground permanent record imagery developed by a photographic and electronic means, and plans and recommends the use of all ground and aerial sensor systems for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Utilizes principles and techniques of photogrammetry and employs electronic, mechanical, and optical devices to obtain information from permanent record images. Determines target coordinates for accurate location of imagery analysis findings. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Fuses data with other sources (SIGINT, HUMINT, and IMINT) to generate actionable intelligence.
- Team Lead for up to 40 FMV analysts supporting the customer’s daily intelligence support needs. Works with subordinate shift leads to ensure that analysts’ reporting and actions are in keeping the highest standards of discipline and represent the best effort on all products.
- A Senior FMV Analyst will be expected to work with no oversight and be fully capable of meeting all services required without direction.
- Providing direction to lower level employees and performing quality control and assurance checks on other employees’ work.
- Prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings with the creation and use of visual aids and drafting, editing, and proofreading document for publishing.

- Provide real time 24/7/365 support in a shift work environment as an integral part of a team
- View, exploit, record, and touch type
- Perform geo-locational mensuration functions, extracts coordinate and positional relationships from digital database systems
- Maintain and use geospatial databases
- Compile, segregate, evaluate, research, interpret, analyze, and disseminate intelligence information to support operations
- Liaison with supported unit, aircrew and PED crew in support of real time mission.
- Maintain active role in ongoing mission to ensure mission success and the successful completion of assigned tasks.
- Translate raw mission data and significant activity information from mission chat rooms to finished intelligence for supported unit and intelligent community use.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- MA or MS AND 6 years CURRENT analytical experience in any Intelligence Discipline
- BA/BS degree AND 8 years CURRENT analytical experience in any Intelligence Discipline
- HS diploma/GED AND 12 years of analytical experience in any Intelligence Discipline
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination
