Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an IT Operations Director to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the enterprise operations model that executes management of events, incidents, problems, and changes. Manages the Command Center Operations.
As the IT Operations Director, you will ensure the IT infrastructure is maintained and operates effectively, allowing continuous access to business applications, information, and services. Manages the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) to ensure operational readiness, to provide high availability, stability, and security of the network. Direct operations and integration activities to synchronize contractor efforts across all technical requirements. Manage contractor resources, scheduling, and training to maintain contractual performance obligations. Build and manage network and systems dashboard for enterprise operational and decision-making views. Liaises with C5ISC on network requirements and incident response and adheres to notification and root cause analysis communication as required by the Government. Collaborate with IMS Contractor leadership team to deploy, deliver, and maintain IT services and configuration baselines as designed and provide feedback to inform engineering updates. Collaborate with IMS Contractor IT Service Management to execute Event, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes in alignment with work instructions, and provide feedback in support of continuous service improvement.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT Services delivery professionals including system administrators, network engineers, and subject matter experts.
- Manage and improve individual mission and cross-collaborative approaches across the contract and Program.
- Maintain a mature IT Cybersecurity practice across the program which includes:

- Maintaining a proactive IT Security environment and culture.
- Reviewing, planning, and preparing Assessment and Authorization processes for program projects with Information System Security Officers (ISSO).
- Identifying and implementing IT Security infrastructure tools, use-cases, and system designs to reflect trending global events and cyber security vulnerabilities.
- Ensuring compliance with Coast Guard, DoD, and Industry IT Security policy and procedures.
- Interfacing with Coast Guard leadership and personnel.
- Build and manage network and systems dashboard for enterprise operational and decision-making views.
- Managing diverse teams focused on effective and efficient management of Windows and Linux Systems, IT and Networking Infrastructure, and Operational Technology that is critical to real-time mission services.
- Provide workforce education and mentoring to maintain the IT operations, IT System Administration, and Network Engineering culture across program.
- Serve as the Designated Representative for the Program and Deputy Program Manager to lead IT Incident resolution and representative in their absence.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 16 years of experience, may have management experience
- 10 years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments
- 10 years of network operations experience (i.e. including network design, development, testing, and implementing systems management platforms and sol
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of IT professionals supporting a large enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership
- Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements
- Minimum Certification Requirements -Currently hold one or more of the following and have the ability to ability to obtain all certs:

- ITIL v3 Intermediate and/or ITIL 4 Specialist to align with the latest version of DESMF
- DOD 8570.01M IAM Level II certification
- Certified TBM Executive (CTBME)
- U.S Citizenship required; Active Top Secret clearance; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Engineering
- Previous experience working in dynamic large scale DoD IT environment
- Previous experience with any Federal Agency ITSM operations and IT leaderships
- Experience with concepts related to FedRAMP, and other authorization/certification and endorsements for systems operating in the Federal space
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a complex environment
- Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements efficiencies
- Ability to multitask effectively between program projects, subcontractor personnel, and project civil servant community
- Excellent communication skills - able to run meetings with project teams and coordinate with technical and non-technical staff
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and proactive interactions
- Self-starter with a drive to deliver superior IT services to support the USCG mission
