Peraton is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the Data Center and Cloud Optimization Program (DCCO) growing Marketing Team to support a variety of internal and customer-facing marketing collateral. The Lead Graphic Designer will have the ability to take visual representations, in both print and digital media, from concept to delivery. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing concepts to find the right style and layout for every project, while incorporating existing branding and style requirements. Examples of deliverables include slick sheets, white papers, Power-Point presentations, capability sheets and use-case/success stories. Fully remote with occasional travel to VA/DC Metro area.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or stakeholders on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, marketing collateral, signage, internal communications, templates, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Manage and track graphic deliverables based on established processes, using project.
- management tools and associated marketing repositories.
- Stay abreast of current marketing design trends and incorporate into deliverables when warranted.
- Ability to work with technical subject matter.
- Ability to present design concepts and ideas to team members and leadership.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required; Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience or Master's degree and 6 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 12 years' experience.
- Experience in professional graphic design.
- Deep experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
- Experience with digital design and editing software for creation of video, social media graphics and associated content (Figma or similar software).
- Experience working with Share-Point development and architecture for on-line portals.
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- Ability to present design concepts and ideas to team members and leadership.
- Expert knowledge of current digital and print design software and be skilled in every step of the design process.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional graphic design experience with a creative or marketing organization.
