Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our Task Order (TO) Operational Planning, Implementation, and Assessment Services (OPIAS). The successful candidate will assist in supporting our Combatant Commands, Interagency partners with TO management and technical expertise with Information Operations in fulfilling their missions to direct and enable military operations and activities with allies and partners to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall Task Order management including reviewing status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The successful candidate will lead a diverse functional staff to fulfill program management functions and deal directly client issues that result in successful resolution. Roles and responsibilities for this position include: Planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages on a large system development-type contract Manage planning and execution for all program tasks, requirements, and deliverables to meet quality assurance standards for on time delivery Oversee and manage all operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management, and customer Review status of projects and budgets; staffing, manages schedules and prepares status reports Identify and assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients Provide periodic and ad hoc status reports focused on progress, newly identified issues, closed issues, and challenges Basic Qualifications: Must have minimum of 15 years of project management level experience Must have 15 years of experience managing distributed teams comprised of personnel from multiple companies Must have 15 years of experience in identifying personnel and missions issues early, develop mitigation plans and communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer Must have 3 years minimum managing projects for a geographic combatant command Must have strong communication skills, writing abilities and functional capabilities with Microsoft products Possess current Project Manager Professional (PMP) certificate Possess an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility Must possess or be able to obtain a current U.S. Passport. Must be willing and able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required by the program. (some locations may be hazardous) Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position is located in Tampa, FL – requires working in company facilities. No relocation assistance is available. Preferred Qualifications: Recent project management experience for a combatant command Experience working in the customer space as a project management manager Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills; ability to create a positive and productive work environment.
