Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer, Lead. The Network Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the network projects, including hardware requirements, designing and implementing standards based physical layer connectivity through complex routing protocols.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer, Lead. The Network Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the network projects, including hardware requirements, designing and implementing standards based physical layer connectivity through complex routing protocols.
What will you do?
This position will be responsibile for the following but not limited to:
- Network design, and configuration of OSPF, EIGRP, RIP and Static routing solutions.
- Configure and support wireless systems.
- Architecture design, and systems implementation, of middle-of-row to core connectivity.
- IOS layer 2 and layer 3 configuration and support.
- Configuring the switched environment and ensure data transverses the appropriate path to core devices via spanning-tree.
- Responsible for installation, operation, support and maintenance of Cisco Catalyst 65XX and Nexus 5K/7K carrier class switches
Required Quaifications:
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of degree.
- Must be a U.S citizen
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
- Must be available to travel 40%
- Experience with Network design, and configuration
