Responsibilities
Qualified candidate will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Peraton’s DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peraton’s DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.
The customer requirement requires every employee to be onsite for the first 90 days. After the 90 day period, a hybrid schedule may be offered. The Operations Lead role will be based in Beltsville, MD. This role supports the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT).
Position Description:
- Coordinates with government leads to concentrate focus of CIRT operations, manage customer expectations and promote process improvement.
- Provides direct supervisory guidance to shift supervisors, Team leads and analysts.
- Outlines technical requirements of systems supporting CIRT Operations.
- Ensures CIRT Incident Handler and Analytic teams staff members are qualified and capable of supporting the CIRT 24hrx 7 day a week mission.
- Prepares periodic reports for MIRD management and CIRT deliverables to client.
- Actively liaises with other departments within DOS and government agencies relating to situational awareness within CIRT operations.
- Provides new analysts account requests for access to the CIRT ticketing system.
- Provides direct supervisory control over personnel training.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before start date.
- CCISO, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, GSLC certification required or the ability to obtain before start date.
- Demonstrated technical task management and supervisory experience.
- Experience in managing cyber security or information assurance support programs of similar size, complexity and scope as the DSCM Program.
- Experience in network technology, management or operation with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience in managing network security monitoring and incident response capability.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
