Range for Posting
Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. What you will do:
- Provide support to specific Initiatives (Server, Storage, Network, and Database integration).
- Create and manage WBS
- Create and manage the Schedule
- Create and manage Scope
- Create and Manage the Communications Plan
- Coordinate and participate in planning and status meetings. Document proceedings in meeting minutes
- Develop or edit PowerPoint presentations to be given to Senior Executive Staff
- Maintain documentation in appropriate SharePoint sites
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis
- Update the deployment and installation Project Plan using Microsoft Project Server 2010, expanding the high-level plan into detailed task plans to include milestones, installation timelines, implementation timelines, factors for success, and methods for tracking and monitoring
- Maintain the Project SharePoint site as required by the SSA PM
- Schedule and facilitate any planning meetings by taking attendance, recording meeting notes and publishing the meeting notes on the SharePoint within 24 hours of the meeting
- Create and maintain reports as required by the Contract
- Maintain network performance management documents and status reports
- Create and maintain Visio diagrams of the network and application layout
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of experience in managing technical projects. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree
- 5 years of experience with large enterprise environments
- 5 years of experience in developing lifecycle documents, including Use Cases, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Design Specifications, Business Process Models and Test Cases
- 4 years of experience leading requirements discovery working sessions with an audience of customer and systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and translating the results of requirements discovery sessions into Requirements/Design documents and Use Cases
- 1 year of experience using Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with Federal Government contract vehicles such as GSA Schedule 70 and NASA SEWP
- Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green card Holder
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Federal Government/Government/Large scale corporate working experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in building customer relationships
- 3 Years of experience with Requirements Management Tools
- Possess technical writing skills and able to review others' work products
