Responsibilities
The Global Health and Financial Solutions team is seeking a Scrum Master who will lead the continuous implementation of the SAFe Agile methodology across the FPS2 scrum and Kanban teams. This individual will work closely with the FPS Product Manager, FPS2 Product Owner, FPS2 scrum team leads, Quality Assurance team, DevOps, FPS2 stakeholders and users, and other identified FPS key personnel. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a department(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
What you'll do:
- Acts as the full-time chief scrum master for the project and is the leader for the Agile Release Train (ART).
- Facilitates program increment (PI) planning and execution (pre-PI planning, PI Planning, program backlog grooming, sprint demo).
- Assist teams in resolving blockers/risks, and communicates issues to FPS2 stakeholders and CMS personnel.
- Ensures all SAFe agile methodology activities are continually implemented properly and followed until delivery.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience, Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience, PhD with 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience acting as the RTE for a SAFe agile implementation for large, complex IT projects/operations that are similar in size and scope as referenced under this contract, preferably at the federal government.
- Experience providing SAFe agile training and knowledge share to teams and organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry ‘best practices’ and CMS/Federal government standards.
- Experience working in the CMS/Federal government acquisition environment.
- Certified SAFe Scrum Master
