Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with a talented team performing full SLDC Java development for a mission critical ETL system. You will develop and maintain data parsers for a variety of structured and unstructured data sets to render them in a format recognized by a host of analytical tools. You will participate in projects to increase the interoperability and integration of mission data across the enterprise. You will work with Apache NiFi, Kafka, and AWS. Qualifications
Required:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant technical field of study.
- 12 years of experience with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, 7 years with PhD.
- 8-10 years of experience in Java development; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with AWS
- Expert level in Java development.
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance.
Desired:
- MS in Computer Science or engineering discipline.
- Apache NiFi experience
- Deep understanding of parsing concepts and formats such as Avro and Parquet.
- Previous ETL experience.
- Demonstrable experience with working with structured and unstructured data.
