Supports business process design related to relevant applications; performs impact and system analysis based on business requirements; leading a sub-team of designers and specification writers in support of implementation; supporting the development of test architectures and technology validation strategies; developing and nurture consensus and working relationships with technical teams and integration on projects and programs; leading or participating in technical Centers of Competence (CoE) on a regular basis; collaborating with other technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of architecture standards, guidelines, reference architecture, and the systems Technology Roadmap; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Participates when needed as a technical expert in pre-sales qualification. Works closely with Project Managers and Program Managers in the design, development, and implementation of the technical content defined in the Statement of Work. Creates project status reports and accurately tracks/manages project issues and risks.
Contract Specific Duties for SME Solutions Architect
Leverage tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM tools to monitor and review team member assignments to ensure equitable use of resources, and to exercise quality control over tasks.
Meet with their team members daily in SCRUM fashion (10 mins) to provide an opportunity to hear risks and plan mitigatations as necessary.
Coordinate across teams as necessary for more complex tasks to ensure success, and to ensure team members embrace skill enhancement through mentoring and on-the-job training moments.
Coordinate solutions requiring new software, methodologies, approaches, or other changes with the task lead and SME forums to ensure compliance with government constraints. Solution stack baselines (a list of pre-approved software and code) will be encouraged to eliminate unnecessary changes to baselines. • Supports business process design and technical system related to relevant applications

Expert knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep.
Extensive experience with designing, deploying and operationalizing application architectures, datacenters, cyber and cyber-physical system security, electromagnetic system analysis, space architecture and resilience, identity management, data analytics, artificial intelligence/machine load and multi-cloud solutions.
Demonstrated successful experience in enterprise architecture, application development, end-to-end systems analysis and be comfortable advising C-level executives as well as working with hands-on engineers.
Technical focus with client site work.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with effective time management and process-oriented organizational skills. Colorado Salary Minimum: $99,000
Colorado Salary Maximum: $240,200
