Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user interfaces,
- Maintain hardware and software performance tuning.
- Analyze workload and computer usage.
- Maintain interfaces with outside systems.
- Analyze downtimes, analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.
- Define problems and develops system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
- Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.
- Develop, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Enterprise software requirements specification and management
- Work Breakdown Structure composition (WBS)
- Software parametric estimation models e.g. COCOMO, SEER-SEM, SLIM, etc.
- Agile software development processes and implementation
- Software quality processes e.g. CMMi
- Configuration/change management systems
- Software Integration, defect management, and remediation including use of integrated development environments (IDE)
- Developing software test and test-automation suites.
- Software maintenance, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
- Experience with one or more modern software languages including but not limited to: Java, C, C , C#, Python, Perl, etc.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree desired
- Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
- Cloud design for software, implementation, and configuration
- Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)
- Experience building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
- Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc
- Experience with orchestration tools and scripting such as Ansible

Range for Posting
Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
