Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer to support the design, development and maintenance of SIGINT based applications for our Intelligence Community customer.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the development, integration, unit test, deployment and maintenance of updates to deployed software components. Candidate will implement new software to develop capabilities in an environment based on a fast-paced agile methodology. Working with end user Analysts, Systems Engineers and Software Developers, the candidate will execute planning, design, development, and productization of applications for complex electronic data processing systems. The candidate will also interface with project managers and customers on a regular basis, so excellent communications skills and willingness to collaborate are a must.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or other STEM related degree with a minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience or MS Degree in in Computer Science or other STEM related degree equivalent and a minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Development and debugging experience with Java or C/C applications.
- Innovative thinker with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
PREFERRED:
- Security Certification
- Full scope of software engineering life-cycle experience: Analysis, design, development, debugging, deployment and automated testing
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, MySQL, Swing
- Familiarity with CM/build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT, Ant
- Experience with Agile methods, Scrum
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and standards
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
This position requires the candidate possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI and ability to obtain CI Polygraph. The candidate must maintain the clearance.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $75,600 Colorado Salary Maximum: $183,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
