Responsibilities
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the Company's or clients application systems. Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the organization's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Defines the goals of the system and devises flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs. Serves as the information resource for client users; including determination of the most appropriate data source, providing or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information themselves. Acts as primary contact for all application systems problems. Analyzes and documents problem, recommends solution, initiates corrective actions. Coordinates application enhancements to existing computer systems, including analysis, design specifications and liaison between vendors and clients.

Qualifications
Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.

Colorado Salary Minimum: $49,212.80 Colorado Salary Maximum:$105,206.40 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
