Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting the Department of Treasury’s Enterprise Applications (EA) program. The candidate will directly interface with our customer to support their Talent Management Solutions (TMS) team. This position allows for full telework.
What you will do:
- The candidate will gather requirements, translate requirements into a best fit within the application.
- Identify business process improvements, develop and maintain SDLC documentation.
- Support application configuration, define test scenarios, and create test scripts.
- The candidate's responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, reviewing and commenting on proposed functionality;
- Evaluating and providing feedback on design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts,
- Working with developers to ensure thorough understanding of functional requirements and designs.
- The candidate is expected to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and work effectively with employees, subcontractors, and the Treasury staff in a diverse team environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 8 years’ experience. Additional years of overall directly related experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Working knowledge of end user aspects of reporting tools such as IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI.
- Emphasis is on using the user facing report / query design tools, not the back end table development and design.
- Experience in writing business requirements and translating them into functional design documents.
- Experience with software testing
- Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
- Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of recruiting process, regulations, and required reporting preferably in the Federal workspace.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
