What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer position at Peraton?
Responsibilities
The Technical Trainer position is responsible for developing courseware and training materials to support the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Also responsible for training DoD users of ACAS using in person or virtual technologies. Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Collaborates with engineering to identify program needs, obtain technical data and schedules programs.
Location: 100% Remote
The Technical Trainer is responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Developing courseware, writing training materials, delivering training, and setting up and maintaining a computer-training environment, and using customer satisfaction surveys for course evaluation
- Writing training manuals (instructor and participant guides) and user manuals
- Designing and producing training tools, such as printable job aids and quick reference guides
- Delivering train-the-trainer and instructor-led training.
- Designing and producing eLearning training material.
- Travel may be required, but is not expected to more than 5% and more than likely less than that, most training is provided virtually
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- BS 8 years of experience or HS 12 years of experience
- Show verifiable training and experience as training instructor, curriculum developer, or ACAS operator/engineer
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain DoD Interim Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
