POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for engaging with court referred individuals to ensure successful completion of program requirements. Duties include routine engagement, assisting clients with connection to necessary public of private insurance benefits, serving as a liaison between agency and referral source, and completing timely and accurate documentation.
Hourly based on experience: $19.00 - $22.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client engagement from time of referral, through treatment and completion of services.
- Follow-up with clients on all missed appointments.
- Increase the number of clients who are connected to either public or private insurance.
- Enter client level data into the Contractor Data Collection System (CDCS).
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and court reports.
- Ensure regular ongoing communication with local referral sources to provide updates on client progress in services.
- Engage clients and referral sources in a person-centered and trauma-informed manner.
- Administer quarterly WAI-SV survey to clients.
- Report incidents to CSSD in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Prior experience working with court referred individual or individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to develop clear and presentable documentation.
- Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others as a team.
