Operations Manager, Fulfillment Center

Central to our success is the ability to run our Fulfillment Centers efficiently and effectively. We are young in our development of Fulfillment Centers, so we are looking for people who can execute the day to day as well as create what our future looks like. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about safety, people, cost, customer experience and quality.

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks within the Fulfillment Center:

• Responsible for inventory accuracy and general system cleanliness across multiple platforms. This includes day to day transactions, cycle counts and other inventory related projects
• Partnering with cross functional teams to help drive performance on current work and integrate new ideas & concepts into the operation
• Drive down non-labor controllable costs through vendor relationship management and procurement
• Leverage analytical ability to create & define core KPIs in order to promote and drive operational performance.
• Creating a culture of continuous improvement across your designated area(s) of responsibility
• Effectively prioritize the workload of yourself and cross functional partners to ensure the right tasks are being worked on. This should include removing blockers where necessary
• Effectively lead and develop talent in the building by holding 1:1's and conducting employee performance reviews and dialogue
• Able to work extended hours and shifts if needed, this can include nights and weekends

About You

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, process driven and action oriented leader to join our core operating team. The ideal candidate is a supply chain expert with experience running and driving operational performance. This person has a track record of bringing structure to something that is inherently messy, has corporate and field experience and is able to drive change.

• 5 Years of work experience
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Ability to learn ins and outs of multiple systems and tools
• Excellent relationship building skills and a strong sense of curiosity
