What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Interviewer position at Perdue Farms?

This position is responsible for helping to manage the staffing levels in the operation by recruiting and selecting qualified candidates. This position is the face of the Company to the community and prospective employees. This position will also help orientate new associates into the company.
Ensures all recruitment/hire processes in the Company Hiring Manual are implemented and followed. Performs audits on a regular basis reporting results to management.
Ensures all new hire papaerwork requirements are consistently met.
Conducts interview and phone screens of potential candidates.
Makes employment offers meeting legal and Company criteria.
Conducts background checks and assessment testing on candidates.
Coordinates internal and external job fairs, college visits, etc.
Utilizes all HR reporting tools, i.e., manpower, headcount and required reprots, to perform audits and analysis and reports results to management.
Administers the Employment Verification Process.
Maintains all necessary legal and regulatory documents.
AA degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
4 plus years experience. Knowledge and experience using a HR/Payroll database system. Efficient in Social Media recruiting/job posting. Proven success in handling administrative responsibilities. Demonstrated ability for accuracy, meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, ability to work with minimal supervision. May need to travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or company business.
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
